In a rallying call to the Nigerian Super Eagles, Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Enoh, emphasized the importance of victory against Libya in their upcoming match. His statement, shared through spokesperson Diana-Mary Nsan, highlighted the need for the team to stay vigilant as they prepare for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, on Friday.

“The strong start you have made in the qualifiers puts you in a great position to secure a spot in the 2025 AFCON tournament. However, it’s essential to protect your standing, as the Mediterranean Knights will be looking to defy expectations and aim for at least a draw,” Enoh warned. He urged the players to respect their opponents and maintain their focus, stating, “Never underestimate your rivals.”
