Manchester United Unlikely to Make Any January Signings

Manchester United aren’t planning to make any new signings during the upcoming January transfer window, according to Sky Sports News reporters Dan Khan and Rob Dorsett.

Even with several players set to miss time due to the Africa Cup of Nations, the club isn’t expected to react by rushing into the market. Sources say that unless a long-term target suddenly becomes available, United will likely hold off on any additions this winter.

The situation has been further complicated by the recent injury to striker Benjamin Sesko, but insiders maintain that the club won’t let short-term issues dictate their transfer strategy.

Head coach Ruben Amorim addressed the matter after the weekend’s match, saying, “We’ll see when the window opens if there’s a way to strengthen the team or prepare for what’s ahead. Until then, we’ll make the most of the opportunities we have.”

United’s focus remains firmly on next summer, when they plan to reinforce their midfield. Brighton’s Carlos Baleba, Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson, and Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton are among the players admired at Old Trafford. However, those deals are considered unlikely to happen before the season ends.
