Bobrisky Claims Up to $100,000 for Social Media Influencing

Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, recently revealed that he charges as much as $100,000 for social media influencing. In a voice note that surfaced online, he addressed allegations surrounding his wealth, insisting that his income is legitimate and primarily comes from his social media activities.

This revelation emerged in a video shared by fellow influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on October 7, 2024. The voice call, recorded on May 16, 2024, features Bobrisky discussing his earnings and countering claims of money laundering and fraud.

“All the money I have is genuine and the sources are from my influencing work. I once told you about a woman who wanted to pay me £10,000 for influencing, so many people don’t realize I can charge as high as $100,000,” he reportedly stated during the conversation with an unidentified male contact.

Despite his recent conviction for mutilating the naira, which resulted in a six-month jail sentence in April, Bobrisky indicated that he managed to access his mobile phone while incarcerated. During the call, he shared his struggles with communication since his imprisonment, revealing, “People have been sending me many messages, but I haven’t been responding because I don’t want anyone to know I have my phone. I only want to talk to someone I can trust.”

Bobrisky emphasized his resilience, stating, “If you think you cannot do it, all fingers are equal. Some others do it, and trust me, God blessed the hustle. Obviously, I met a very terrible judge who wasn’t fair at all.”
