Published

The Presidency has officially announced that President Bola Tinubu is preparing for a cabinet reshuffle in the near future. Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, shared this news with State House correspondents on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

While Onanuga did not specify an exact timeline, he indicated that the reshuffle could occur at any moment, though he could not confirm if it would happen before October 1.

Since President Tinubu appointed his ministers in August of last year, there has been increasing pressure for a reshuffle from both members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the general public, primarily due to concerns over the performance of certain ministers.

Notably, just a few weeks ago, the President alluded to the impending changes during a meeting with Northern leaders at the State House in Abuja, hinting at adjustments to his cabinet to address these concerns.
