NYSC Advocates for Enhanced Collaboration with DSS

The Director-General of Nigeria’s National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, has emphasized the need for a stronger partnership with the Department of State Services (DSS). During a recent congratulatory visit to the newly appointed DSS Director-General, Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi, in Abuja, General Ahmed highlighted the critical role of collaboration in improving Nigeria’s security framework.

In his remarks, General Ahmed praised Ajayi for his impressive work ethic and commitment to his new position, expressing confidence that his leadership would enhance national security efforts. He noted the long-standing partnership between the NYSC and the DSS, which has significantly contributed to the NYSC’s achievements, especially in fostering national unity and community development.

Reflecting on his own experiences during youth service, Ajayi reiterated his commitment to strengthening the cooperation between the DSS and the NYSC, with a focus on enhancing the safety and well-being of all Corps members.
