Obasanjo Visits Ondo Governor Ahead of Gubernatorial Election

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo visited Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa at the Government House in Akure on Monday, November 11, just days ahead of the Ondo State gubernatorial election scheduled for Saturday, November 16.

Aiyedatiwa, who ascended to the governorship role following the death of his predecessor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in 2023, is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). During the visit, Obasanjo, who shared the images on his social media account, extended his well wishes to the governor for a successful re-election campaign.

This gesture by the former president highlights his continued involvement in the political scene as Ondo State prepares for a crucial electoral event.
