Portable Expresses Disappointment After Meeting Peter Obi: ‘He Didn’t Give Us Anything

In a viral video making rounds on social media, popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, known as Portable, shared his disappointment following a brief encounter with Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

The two met at an airport in Benin City, Edo State, exchanging pleasantries in what seemed like a friendly interaction. However, in a follow-up video, Portable expressed frustration, claiming that Obi didn’t give him anything during the meeting.

The singer then contrasted his experience, stating that if it had been President Bola Tinubu, he would have received something. He said, “Obi didn’t give us anything. If it was Tinubu, he would have given us something.”
