New Jersey to Host 2025 FIFA Club World Cup Final

New Jersey will proudly host the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final at MetLife Stadium, the home ground for the NFL’s New York Giants and New York Jets. FIFA recently announced this exciting news alongside the complete lineup of venues for the tournament, which will feature an expanded format with 32 teams competing from June 15 to July 13, 2025, across 12 stadiums throughout the United States.

Opened in 2010, MetLife Stadium boasts a seating capacity of 82,500 and previously showcased the Copa America Centenario final in 2016. Additionally, it has been selected as the venue for the 2026 World Cup final, cementing its status as a premier location for major international soccer events.

The Club World Cup will take place in various NFL and Major League Soccer stadiums across cities including Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Philadelphia, Seattle, Washington, and two locations in Orlando.

The tournament’s structure will feature eight groups of four teams, with the top two from each group progressing to the knockout stage, culminating in the final match. However, FIFPRO’s European member unions have raised concerns and initiated legal action against FIFA, citing worries over the potential effects of a packed schedule on player health and performance.
