The highly awaited airdrop has left thousands feeling let down, as users who had invested five months of effort only received meager rewards of $1 to $4. The highest payouts reported were between $7 and $17, leading to widespread dissatisfaction on social media.

Launched in March 2024, Hamster Kombat initially promised life-altering rewards, but many users now feel deceived by the outcome. The cryptocurrency, identified as HMSTR, was trading at $0.008315, with a market capitalization of $535.3 million as of Thursday afternoon.

Online platforms are buzzing with users voicing their discontent, some humorously dubbing themselves “CEOs of dust” while others lament their wasted time. Adding to the crypto community’s frustration, another application, Tapswap—powered by TON Blockchain—has also faced criticism due to repeated delays in its token allocation.
